Actor-Singer, Guji Lorenzana started out on radio, and soon after, Guji appeared in commercials. This led to starring roles in Philippine soaps, movies, and theater. As a product of ABS-CBN's Star Magic's Batch 16, Guji got his first big break as a lead on the popular afternoon Philippine soap, Precious Hearts Romances Presents, The Bud Brothers.
Today, Guji is still actively seen on Philippine TV (Worldwide on TFC), and in Philippine movies; his latest projects include a lead role in the Cignal Cable Original, THE WIVES OF HOUSE NUMBER 2, and a supporting lead role on the hit ABS-CBN afternoon soap, THE GREATEST LOVE. He was also recently nominated for a FAMAS for best supporting actor, in the award winning film, Silong.
Before the TV roles came, Guji independently released several albums, of which earned him nominations for best male and live performer. He has been a regular performer on music television variety shows such as ASAP, and even won a spot on team APL of the Black Eyed Peas, in the first season of The Voice of the Philippines.
In theater, he recently reprised the role of Danny Zuko in the Manila production of Grease. In the club circuit he is actively DJ-ing. His band also frequents the Metro Manila live band circuit. He is also a regular co-host of the hit podcast, Good Times with Mo The Podcast on D5 Studios.
Newly wed, he is enjoying married life, while working on new music projects, to be released soon.
"Life will give you whatever experience is the most helpful for the evolution of your consciousness"
- Eckhart Tolle
Guji Lorenzana grew up in family of artists; his uncle, an award winning songwriter in the United States, a cousin, an award winning director of film, another uncle, former head of one of the top Media and TV stations of the Philippines, and an aunt who was a very successful OPM singer in the 80s and 90s, garnering several awards for her hit songs. This evironment definitely shaped Guji, paving the way to become an entertainer and artist himself.
In college he took up theater, and worked both as an actor and stage crew. In music, he fronted several bands as a singer, and in 2003 tested his luck on American Idol. He did not get far in the competition, but a chance meeting with Simon Cowell during the audition process, ignited his passion and drive; that he knew he would do nothing else in life but perform, entertain, act, sing, and create music.

Guji Lorenzana is the type of artist that continously works, creates, and evolves. In one interview he said he would like "to be as busy as Ryan Seacrest." If Guji seems quiet at times, it usually means he's either preparing for, or about to come out with something new. I wonder what Guji is cooking up now.
